The Pretenders - “I’ll Stand by You” (1994)

Cool Factz 4 Teen Girlz:  A testament to the song’s sentiment of faithfulness when things are at their worst, “I’ll Stand by You” has twice been released as a charity single. First by the British, pop-group Girls Aloud back in 2004 and then by country-artist Carrie Underwood, who released a version in 2007 in conjunction with the Idol Gives Back charity drive.
